planning next brew day and came looking to see if there had been a release.
updated my spark3, most all is well.
a small annoyance resulted from this update…
all of the temperature values in the Quick Actions widget are stuck in deg-C, when I have deg-F selected in the Admin > System > General Settings > Temperature Units.
thank you, sir.
I can tell you that I have seen this before on previous releases; sadly I cannot help with which versions.
safe to say it is not a brand new behavior to this release.
again, your dedication to supporting this product is greatly appreciated.
I did a new batch over the weekend. These two history tags definitely aren’t available until several hours (couldn’t tell you how many) after switching to follow profile. They then magically show up and include data back to when the profile started. Not a huge deal but confusing.
We’ve been looking into this issue. Sadly it appears to be a bug in the database itself, where queries fail to find some of the requested data. We’ve filed an issue, and will push an update once they get it fixed.
I have found the same behavior with the history tags.
I can add that the tags that go missing are seemingly random.
I have one setpoint block missing setting and another missing value.
I found a new behavior is kind of odd.
I cannot bring down the Spark 3 display brightness.
When I move the slider down, a top-down wipe occurs on the screen and comes back at full brightness.
The slider still shows the new setting, but only until I click off. Showing the level again reveals full brightness.
This is a bug on our end: we moved the setting without updating the UI code for changing the setting. The fix will be part of the next release, which I expect to happen next week.
