[Old release notes topic]

Sounds like it, but that was caused by page scrolling after it calculated grid boundaries - something both fixed, and unlikely to happen in a fullscreen modal.

Big question is whether it’s a calculation or a display issue.

@rbpalmer @adempewolff the fix is making its way through the review/release process. In the meantime: the problem occurs if your page is scrolled when you open the modal.

The temporary workaround would be to place your process view widget at the top of your page, and to make sure you scroll to the top before editing.

Great, thanks for the update.

@LBussy Your tool works lovely. Referenced it in https://brewblox.netlify.com/user/startup.html#step-2-enable-ssh-and-wifi

Thanks Bob. Hopefully it helps people.

Thanks for the effort Lee!

Added release notes.

@Bob_Steers, as I have 3 sparks running on the same PI UI, could you please make it clearer if a firmware update is required.

A simple comment under the release date saying (firmware upgrade=Required/Not Required) would be great.

Sure. So far I’ve been mentioning it if there were no firmware changes. This time there technically are firmware changes, but nothing required.

Yeah, that’s exactly where the confusion lies. If you say I need to update firmware then I will if not then its just the Pi that needs updating. Don’t want to be reporting an issue that is because I have not upgrade a previous firmware update.

Would be great to know this when I read the release notes, as then I can decide if this can be done without connecting each Spark in turn for a firmware update.

By the way, great progress on this and I really love the whole system…

Added documentation page on control chains: https://brewblox.netlify.com/user/control_chains.html

Please do say if you feel anything is missing or unclear.

Documentation + widget for executing common actions is up next.

The stuff on OneWire Actuators (DS2413), am I correct in saying that is for anyone using the expansion board it does it depend upon what is connected to it?

I’m not sure I follow. The DS2413 Actuator does have a setting where you select which latch in the DS2413 chip it will be using. The other latches will not be set by the actuator, but can be used by a different DS2413 actuator.

Sorry I think I am confusing the expansion board with the DS2413, if using the expansion board with sensors and SSR’s this is not needed then?

If you’re using a OneWire expansion board with an SSR plugged in, you will need a DS2413 Actuator to control the SSR.

The order would be: DS2413 Actuator -> DS2413 chip -> expansion board -> SSR.

Hi Bob
Elco says that the SSR Expansion board is already implemented in BrewBlox.
BR Ken

Yes. He did. And they are.

However you still need to interface the expansion board through DS2413 :+1:
