Hi Bob, thank you for your fast reply.
The reason I would like a separate virtual keyboard is to use it with Raspberry Pi programs in general.
I cannot find support for the Onboard keyboard except on this forum, and I guess that is being superseded by the Brewblox application.
However if you might help, even indirectly with my issue with the Onboard keyboard I would be most thankful.
Kind regards,
Erik
Sure, I can have a look at it. What OS are you using? (Raspberry/Ubuntu/Debian, lite/full/core/etc)
Edit: when checking issues, Bug #1001736 “Keyboard unuseable in Ubuntu chroot via xrdp or vn...” : Bugs : Onboard pops up. This does not make me hopeful for a resolution any time soon.
I took a quick look at alternatives, and Florence seemed workable. (sudo apt-get install florence
).
Hi Bob, this is on raspbian (Raspberry Pi4B full core).
Indeed probably more worth to have a look at Florence.
Thank you for your help,
grts,
Erik
