I’ve had a few power cycles this week due to electrical work on my house and my RasPi needing a reboot. I have 2 PC fans in my setup that are controlled as actuators by the BrewPi. It seems that on a power cycle, actuators come back up in the off state rather than the last state they were in before the power cycle. Is there any chance they could be updated to maintain state? I’ve noticed this in the past and been confused when my temps have been slightly erratic because I’ve forgotten to turn the fans back on after a reboot.
The state is not persisted currently. I need to add that.
As a temporary workaround, you can probably set the actuator to inverted. They default to OFF, but with inversion that would be ON.
