I’m controlling my 3 vessel HERMS setup with 2 PWM Controlled pumps which works very well.
But I’m paying with some ideas on how to make sparging more automated, that could easily be done by controlling the pump speed based on the water level in the mash tun or the flow through the 2 pumps. So water level sensors, load sensor or flow sensors could do the job. I like the idea of a load sensor the most. So the water level will be measured by the weight of the mash tun without touching the wort. I can live with the change in density during sparging.
But is it possible to add a sensor like that to the system? Are there any one-wire boards that could make a signal for the brew-blox environment?
