How to upgrade firmware 0.2.11

I’m trying to upgrade the firmware, and it isn’t working. I posted the error on the firmware update topic. I think I read that the auto update requires 0.2.4 - and I’m on 0.2.11.

What do I need to do to upgrade the firmware? I’m starting to get a little frustrated.
