Older Brewpi reset for new fridge

How would I reset the Brewpi to have it recalibrate for a new fridge? I used to use a freezer but switched now to a fridge and wanted to see if there was a way or some values I could change to aid in it adjusting to a new fridge?

You don’t need to reset anything.
Your freezer might require different settings for the PID.
Maybe Kp could be lower because it is more powerful.

Do a temperature step and share the graph that slides out when you open the PID widget if you want advice on tuning.

Thank you for the response. I do believe that pid optimization is what I am after. I had it originally hooked to a freezer but now a fridge and I want to be sure that I am not over working the unit.

I will run a change in temp and post the graph.

If you could please let me know where I can find the PID widget.

Just go to the service page for the spark and click on the PID.
Click on the up/down arrows to expand the settings and the tab on the right to slide out the graph.

I have an older version yet. My system is built from the raspberry pi and Uno controller. I believe you were just getting the spark going when I was building mine.

I am not sure if there is any function similar on my version?

I’m sorry, but we discontinued the Arduino version in 2015.

It was forked as brewpi-remix, which might still work: User Documentation — BrewPi Remix 0.8.0 documentation

Thank you for the link. The unit still works great! Just trying to see if switching cooling units requires me to update anything with the BP.

Does the BP monitor the temps and self adjust to best cool or warm the wort?
