Permanent switching on and off of an induction hotplate possible

Hi all,
an initial test run with Raspberry Pi and the Spark 4 showed that the induction hotplate for mashing frequently turns on and off when the target temperature is reached. This is what PWM is supposed to do. Now my question. Are induction hotplate suitable for this load?

You can increase the pwm period and set a minimum on and off time in the digital actuator.

Thanks, are there some values from experience that I can start with? What has proven successful?

Hello Marko, I’m currently building a similar setup and was wondering if you have any experience by now which on/off times should work?
