I Couldn’t get back ups to work. I only had one brew so nothing lost really. I think the reason is that I created the files after i moved the index.php so that i could create the External Public & Private BrewPi webpage.
@omega3, Hope you managed to get the Pi back up and running. I use this to take a copy of the Pi once a day to my NAS, but can go to other destinations as well.
Runs via cron with a control file or you can use command line.

Yes everything is Up and running smoothly. When I tried to copy back my profiles back into the var/www the script would stop running. And I would get a permission error. Again I believe it had to do with how I had my index.php modified. But I said screw it I will just start fresh for now and fiddle with getting them to work after the brew is done. I remembered my fermentation profile so I was able to just recreate it and pick it back up close to where it left off. I will take a look at that.
run /home/brewpi/utils/fixPermissions.sh afterwards.
