I have done some tracing to try to work out the wiring diagram.
Note that the pink wire between the defrost motor, mystery component and the defrost element doesn’t look right to me, and I can’t find anything based on the part number that I could make out.
It looks like the thing on the side of the thermostat is a 120KOhm resistor, and the thing with the pink/red/white/orange wires is a defrost timer.
So, is it advisable to remove the defrost timer? Based on the part number it does a 12hours cool/20mins defrost cycle.
Would that 20mins make a difference?
