Would this be considered unstable?

Why?
The beer is very close to setpoint and there is no alternating between heating and cooling. When cooling there is no overshoot. The fridge temperature is not cooled to setpoint when the beer is already under setpoint.

you are right. I just wanted to check. I saw someone elses plots look much less periodic so I just figured Id ask. it has been about 8 years since i had my controll theory class and I have all but forgotten even the basics of PID. I need to go back and read my text book again when I have some time. lol…have time. thats funny.
