BrewPi and FTSS

Thanks Elco that’s pretty much what I thought. FWIW I’m just using ice water, not glycol for cooling. The ftss is just very efficient at cooling!

Hey Jkeske, I’m looking to control my FTSS heating pad with my brewpi setup. I’ve just acquired the FTSS heating pad, but need to figure out the power requirements. Is the heating pad running off of 12v dc like the pump?

Any further updates on the guys who have posted above?

I currently have 2 x ss Brewtech unitanks with the heat & cool packs, i have a shared glycol chiller & heat pads on both.

I would like to control everything with the brew PI?

Do i just need the brew PI V3, 4 X sensors & the dc jack convertors?

1 temp sensor for each conical, 1 for the glycol chiller. The simple 6mm probe sensors can slide in the thermowell.

I designed a drop in replacement board for the FTSS.
Just plug in your original power supply, pump and heating pad.

I will add it to the store soon.

Ok that’s great news, please let me know once it’s addex to the shop

@Elco Any news about the drop in replacement board for an FTSS? I would really love to get my hands on one and have not seen it show up ever. Thanks!

Edit: Nevermind I did end up finding it, here is the link for anyone else looking!

How would one connect the FTSS to a Spark 4?
