Temperature sensor wire colours

Hi.

I’ve bought some of the temp sensors for a small project that’s not using the BrewPi. They’re really nice, saved me a bunch of time assembling something similar from scratch.

I’m now about to wire an RJ11 socket to my board and would like to know which pins the wire colours correspond to.

The sensors in our shop have:

  • Red = 5V
  • Black = GND
  • White = OneWire data

Did you connect the wires to a PID and how ?

As stated in your other topic, OneWire sensors are not compatible with industrial PIDs (sestos, stc100, johnson, etc).
